Walk Cycle- First four frames



These are the first four frames of my walk cycle. Playing with them, they don't work terribly well together. I'm going to go through in photoshop ad edit them quite a bit, because when I put them in a gif, it doesn't look like a walk at all. It's a strange dance ;P

An Unproductive Day

Today, I worked on the mechanics or a revised, simplified walk cycle. I added a few frames, and now what needs to happen is that I need to scan it into photoshop and make a gif. Unfortunately, however, the scanner was not working well, so I'll have to scan it at home and then finish it on the last day. Oh, I look forward to the day when a walk cycle isn't difficult for me to do at all... but by that day, will people even animate in 2D anymore?

My character's arc isn't working quite right. His head doesn't bob quite enough, and his motion is strange, but at this point, I think I need to get him into photoshop first, see what it looks like, and then modify from there.

Walking Walking Walking

Still working! Still working on the walk cycle. I looked at some of Ryan Larkin's stuff today. Wow... that's amazing. Someday, huh? I'm working on the recoil pose at the moment, and also getting stuff to stick to the light table ^^;;

Heh. Oh well. I'll have it for you by next week
